Head of Marketing

Sales · Client: PHI CONSULTING · Starts Oct 2026

Phi operates from a secured campus in Gulberg Greens, Islamabad. All roles are on-site.

About the role

Most marketing leaders inherit a brand and defend it. This role is the opposite. You are building the demand engine for a company whose entire product is other companies' revenue. If you cannot draw a straight line from a piece of content to a booked meeting to a closed logo, this is not your seat. If you can, it is one of the few marketing roles where the number you move is the number the business runs on.

Why this role exists

Phi builds and operates revenue systems for B2B companies. GTM pods that plug into a client's stack and run pipeline, RevOps, automation, and customer success as one operating layer. We took Datatruck from $200K to $2M ARR in nine months, and they raised a $12M Series A off the pipeline we built. We booked 93 meetings and closed 44 deals for Payoneer across APAC in four months. The work is proven.

What is not yet built is the inbound engine that makes buyers come to us before an SDR ever touches them. Right now our growth is outbound and referral. Strong, but single-threaded. Your job is to build the second engine, and to make sure every surface Phi puts into the market says one thing, clearly, in one voice. This is a builder's mandate, not a manager's.

What you will own

Four areas: You own the outcome on each, not the activity.

Marketing-sourced pipeline: The demand engine that puts qualified meetings on the calendar without outbound touching them first. This is your primary number.

Inbound: The site, the content system, and the channels that turn a stranger into a booked call. You own the whole path, not a campaign inside it.

Proof: The case studies and the buyer-facing story that sales runs on. The founder who reads a Phi case study should recognise their own company in it.

Brand and language coherence across every platform. One Phi voice, one visual system, one set of terms, whether a buyer lands on the site, LinkedIn, a deck, an email, or a case study. Nothing off-message ships. This is a discipline, and you are its owner.

These are not stretch goals to admire. They are the bar. If you cannot commit to them in the interview, you are not the hire.

What the first 90 days look like

By day 30: the content calendar is live, the site and LinkedIn carry our core offers, and one coherent Phi voice and visual system is applied across every surface. No loose ends in the market.

By day 60: 15 marketing-sourced meetings booked and attributed in the CRM, not claimed in a slide. The inbound path is producing its first SQLs.

By day 90: three case studies drafted, the buyer-facing GTM story in a first version, and a demand engine that runs on a weekly rhythm you own without being asked.

Who this is for

We are hiring for evidence, not for a résumé. You will recognize yourself here or you will not.

You have carried a pipeline or meetings number before, in US B2B, and hit it. Not brand awareness. Not impressions. Meetings and revenue.

You are a builder, not a manager of agencies. For the first two quarters you write, you ship, you measure. The team comes after the engine works.

You are a brand steward as much as a demand engine. You can hold one voice and one look across every surface, and you have the taste to know when something is off.

You think in systems. You do not run campaigns in isolation. You build a machine where content, inbound, and proof compound.

You are comfortable being measured on cost per meeting and inbound SQLs from week one, and you would not want it any other way.

How we work, so you know what you are joining

Phi is not an agency and does not sound like one. We write founder to founder. We use real numbers with honest ranges, never superlatives. We name the companies we have moved and the metrics we moved them by, and nothing we cannot verify. If that discipline sounds like a constraint, it is the wrong fit. If it sounds like a relief, keep reading.

You will report to the Chief Business Officer and sit inside the commercial team, not beside it. Marketing here is a pipeline function, judged in meetings and inbound, not a service that decorates the pipeline someone else built. You get the positioning already decided, so no time is lost relitigating the brand. You

get budget approved weekly against cost per meeting, fast. You get access to our delivery data and our proof, so the story you tell is true.

How we will judge you

On one question, asked every month. Did marketing put meetings on the calendar that closed? Everything else is in service of that. If the answer is yes and the number is climbing, you have the best marketing seat in the category. If you want a role where the work is measured in outputs nobody can trace to revenue, this is not it, and we will both know quickly.
