SlideDog
SlideDog is Windows presentation software that puts PowerPoint decks, PDFs, Prezi files, videos, images and web pages into one playlist and switches between them without leaving the show, for presenters, events and AV teams.
Updated October 2026

Overview: What is SlideDog?
The free version adds a watermark, and Pro costs $19 a month for two seats (checked October 2026).
Each file plays in its own program, so PowerPoint animations, PDF media and video show as designed, and SlideDog cross-fades from one file to the next and remembers where you left off in each. A phone or browser can act as the remote, and the audience can follow the slides on their own devices, answer polls and send questions. SlideDog also suggests it for sales pitches that jump between a deck and a live website.
Fit: Ideal customer profile.
Presenters and AV teams on Windows who run shows with several files or speakers and want no gaps between them. It isn't for Mac or Linux users, and it doesn't create or design slides; you build them in PowerPoint or another tool first.
- Multi-speaker events
- Mixing slides, video and websites
- Looping kiosk displays

Questions
Frequently asked.
Is SlideDog free?
Yes, the free version builds and plays playlists but shows a watermark in the bottom-right corner. Pro removes it and adds presenter view, live sharing, polls, looping and priority support.
Does SlideDog work on Mac?
No. SlideDog is Windows only, and its support page says there are no current plans for Mac or Linux.
How much is SlideDog Pro?
$19 a month, $99 for the first year and $79 after that, or $299 once for a lifetime license with upgrades until version 3.0.0. Each license covers two computers (checked October 2026).
What are SlideDog's limits?
It's Windows only, it relies on PowerPoint, Acrobat Reader and VLC being installed on the presenting PC, and it doesn't create slides. Major versions come several years apart, so new features arrive slowly.
What are the alternatives to SlideDog?
CustomShow builds and tracks sales presentations, while Pitch and Beautiful.ai are slide editors you'd use to make the decks in the first place. None of them plays mixed file types from one playlist the way SlideDog does.
