Overview: What is Quarrio?

Pricing isn't published; Quarrio sells through a demo and says deployments take four to six weeks (checked October 2026).

A sales leader types a question such as "Which deals are most at risk this quarter?" and Quarrio turns it into a database query, returns the answer and shows the SQL it ran. It started as conversational reporting for Salesforce and now connects to other systems too. Quarrio calls its approach deterministic: the same question returns the same answer, and if the data isn't there it says so instead of guessing. In a revenue team it sits next to the CRM's own reports, for questions nobody built a dashboard for.

Fit: Ideal customer profile.

Larger companies with data spread across a CRM, an ERP and a warehouse, where business users wait days for ad hoc reports and the data team wants every answer traceable. It runs inside the customer's own environment, so it suits security-conscious IT teams. It's a heavy choice for a small team that only needs a few Salesforce dashboards.

  • Ad hoc questions on Salesforce data
  • Teams that need an audit trail for every answer
  • Data kept inside your own network

Usage

How to use Quarrio.

Quarrio is installed with the vendor's team rather than self-serve. It runs as a container inside your own environment, uses your existing identity, roles and single sign-on, and respects the permissions already set in Salesforce, the ERP or the warehouse, so users only see records they can already see. Once connected, users ask questions in plain English and can follow up to drill into the result.

Questions

Frequently asked.

How much does Quarrio cost?

Quarrio doesn't publish prices. You request a demo and get a quote, and there's no self-serve plan or free trial listed (checked October 2026).

Does Quarrio work with Salesforce?

Yes. It began as conversational reporting for Salesforce, and its platform page lists Salesforce alongside SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics and SQL or NoSQL databases.

How is Quarrio different from a chatbot on top of an LLM?

Quarrio says it turns each question into a verified database query and shows the SQL, so answers can be checked and repeat exactly. That claim comes from the vendor; test it on your own messy fields before you rely on it.

What are Quarrio's limits?

There's no public pricing or trial, setup needs the vendor's team, and it only works on structured data it can query. Answers are only as good as the CRM and ERP data underneath, so duplicate or stale records still give wrong totals.

What are the alternatives to Quarrio?

Metabase and Databox are self-serve BI tools for dashboards and questions on your data. Clari focuses on pipeline and forecasting, and Salesforce sells its own conversational analytics through Tableau Next.
