The Swarm
The Swarm is a relationship data tool that maps your team's combined LinkedIn, email and calendar connections, plus work and school overlaps, to show who can make a warm introduction, for sales teams, recruiters and investors.
Updated October 2026

Overview: What is The Swarm?
The platform starts at $99 a month per company, and API plans are priced on usage (checked October 2026).
Each member connects their LinkedIn network, Gmail contacts and Google Calendar, and The Swarm adds people who worked at the same company at the same time or went to the same school, even if they aren't connected. It scores connection strength, so a rep searching a target account sees which colleague, advisor or investor knows the buyer best. The same data is sold as an API: The Swarm says it covers 580 million profiles and more than 100 million companies, with job changes refreshed daily.
Fit: Ideal customer profile.
Companies whose founders, investors and advisors know the buyers they want, and teams building products on people and relationship data through the API. It's less useful for a team with a small network or one that needs a large contact database for cold outbound, since its strength is who knows whom.

Questions
Frequently asked.
How much does The Swarm cost?
The platform starts at $99 a month per company, billed monthly or annually, and API plans are priced on usage. A free account lets you try relationship mapping first (checked October 2026).
Does The Swarm integrate with HubSpot and Clay?
Yes. The Swarm lists native Clay, HubSpot and Gmail integrations and an open API. With Clay you map the network in The Swarm, then find and act on warm intros inside a Clay table.
Where does The Swarm get its relationship data?
From what members import (LinkedIn connections, Gmail contacts and calendar meetings) and from its own profile data, which adds overlaps at past employers and schools. It says it never rents or sells imported data for advertising.
What are The Swarm's limits?
Results depend on how many people connect their networks, so a small team with few investors sees few paths. Overlaps show people who could know each other, not a confirmed relationship, and the pricing page still mentioned a HubSpot sync as coming soon when checked.
What are the alternatives to The Swarm?
Village and Happenstance also map warm intros across a team's networks, Commsor focuses on turning connections into pipeline, and People Data Labs sells people data through an API without the relationship layer.
