Puzzle
Puzzle is a process mapping tool that documents how workflows, teams, tools and data connect, for operations, RevOps and automation teams.
Updated October 2026

Overview: What is Puzzle?
It has a free plan, and paid plans start at $20 per editor a month, or $16 billed annually (checked October 2026).
Each step on a Puzzle map holds structured data: an owner, a role, the tool it runs in and the data fields it touches. That turns a diagram into something you can query. You can open a step to see its SOP and Loom walkthroughs, or price a process from time, frequency and role rates. This Puzzle runs at puzzleapp.io and isn't the accounting software at puzzle.io.
Fit: Ideal customer profile.
Ops leads, RevOps teams and automation builders who need one map of who does what, in which tool, at what cost. It helps most when your stack runs on HubSpot, Zapier, Make or n8n. If you only need a quick whiteboard sketch, a general diagram tool is lighter.

Start on the Workflow Canvas, or give Nova, Puzzle's AI assistant, a doc, screenshot, transcript or CSV and let it draft the map. Add teams and role rates in Team Designer and your software in the Tool Canvas. On the $40 plan, sync HubSpot workflows, Zapier Zaps and Make scenarios so the map shows the automations next to the manual steps. Share a filtered view with each team.

Questions
Frequently asked.
How much does Puzzle cost?
Starter is free. Builder is $20 per editor a month, or $16 billed annually, and the top self-serve plan is $40, or $33 billed annually. Enterprise is quoted (checked October 2026).
Is Puzzle the same as the Puzzle accounting software?
No. This Puzzle is a process mapping tool at puzzleapp.io. Puzzle at puzzle.io is a separate company that sells accounting software to startups.
Does Puzzle integrate with HubSpot?
Yes, on the $40 plan and Enterprise. It pulls HubSpot workflows and forms into the map with their IDs and enrollment data. It also syncs Zapier Zaps and Make scenarios.
How is Puzzle different from Miro or Lucidchart?
Miro and Lucidchart are general diagram and whiteboard tools. In Puzzle every box holds data, such as its owner, tool, cost and the fields it touches, so you can trace a role or a field across workflows.
What are Puzzle's limits?
The free plan caps how much you can map, and Builder leaves out integrations and process costing, so most RevOps teams will need the $40 plan. Pricing is per editor, and Nova AI uses credits unless you bring your own key.
What are the alternatives to Puzzle?
Lucidchart, Miro and Whimsical are diagram and whiteboard tools for drawing processes. Scribe records step-by-step guides from screen activity, and Notion holds written SOPs and wikis.
