Overview: What is RingCentral?

RingEX starts at $20 per user per month on Core, billed annually (checked October 2026).

Each user gets a business number, calling from desktop and mobile apps, SMS and fax, plus messaging and video in the same app. Admins set up call routing, queues and auto-attendants, and RingCX adds an omnichannel contact center for larger service or inside sales teams. RingSense and AI Conversation Expert transcribe and score calls. For a revenue team it's the phone layer: calls and texts logged to Salesforce or HubSpot, with conversation intelligence on top.

Fit: Ideal customer profile.

Companies that want one provider for business phone, messaging, video and, if needed, a contact center, across offices and remote staff. Outbound SDR teams that mainly need a fast power dialer with sequencing often pick a sales-specific dialer instead, since RingEX is a general phone system.

Questions

Frequently asked.

How much does RingCentral cost?

RingEX Core is $20, Advanced $25 and Ultra $35 per user per month on annual billing, or $30, $35 and $45 monthly. Contact center and larger deployments are quoted (checked October 2026).

Does RingCentral integrate with Salesforce and HubSpot?

Yes. RingCentral lists more than 600 integrations, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho and Zendesk, so calls and texts can log to CRM records.

Does RingCentral work with Microsoft Teams?

Yes. RingEX adds calling, SMS and fax inside Microsoft Teams without a Teams Phone license, and RingSense can analyze Teams and Zoom meetings.

What are RingCentral's limits?

Independent pricing guides note that taxes, surcharges and add-ons push the real bill above the list price. It's a general business phone system, so outbound sales teams may still want a dedicated dialer, and contact center pricing isn't published.

What are the alternatives to RingCentral?

Dialpad and Nextiva are the closest all-in-one business phone and messaging providers. Aircall and JustCall are built around sales and support teams, and Five9 is a larger contact center platform.
