WhatRuns
WhatRuns is a free browser extension that shows the technologies behind any website you visit, for sales reps, marketers and developers who want a quick read on a site's stack.
Updated October 2026

Overview: What is WhatRuns?
It's free with no sign-up, and there's no paid plan listed on whatruns.com (checked October 2026).
Click the icon on a page and it lists the CMS, frameworks, analytics and tracking tools, ad networks, CDN, fonts, and WordPress plugins and themes it recognizes. You can also follow a site and get notified when it starts or stops using a technology. For a rep it's a pre-call check on one account at a time, not a way to build lists.
Fit: Ideal customer profile.
SDRs, AEs and marketers who want to see a prospect's stack while they're on the prospect's site, at no cost. Teams that need technographic lists, bulk lookups or data written to a CRM need a paid tool such as BuiltWith, Wappalyzer or PublicWWW instead.
