SnackNation

SnackNation is an office snack delivery service that sends curated boxes of healthier snacks to offices and to remote employees' homes, for companies running perks and employee appreciation programs.

Updated October 2026

Overview: What is SnackNation?

Remote employee boxes start at $22 and in-office deliveries at $219, with free shipping (checked October 2026).

SnackNation was founded in Los Angeles in 2014. In September 2020 the company rebranded as Caroo, an employee care and gifting platform, and moved the SnackNation products under it. The snacknation.com store still sells snack boxes under the old name. Boxes draw on partnerships with more than 5,000 snack brands, and every box comes with a meal donation to Feeding America.

Fit: Ideal customer profile.

Office managers and people teams that want a monthly snack program or care packages for remote staff. SnackNation says it serves companies from 10 employees to 10,000. It isn't a sales tool: its site lists no CRM or sales integrations, so teams sending gifts to prospects should look at a gifting platform instead.

Questions

Frequently asked.

How much does SnackNation cost?

Boxes for remote employees start at $22, in-office deliveries at $219 and boxes for home at $16, all with free shipping (checked October 2026). The pricing page lists only starting prices.

Is SnackNation the same company as Caroo?

Yes. SnackNation rebranded as Caroo in September 2020 and moved its products under the Caroo brand, which focuses on employee gifts. The SnackNation site still sells snack boxes under its own name.

Can SnackNation ship to remote employees?

Yes. It ships boxes to employees' homes as well as to offices, and each box can carry a custom note from the company.

Can I choose what goes in a SnackNation box?

Snack Sneak Peek lets you pick the snacks you want and remove the rest. If you skip it, SnackNation picks the mix for your office from its own data.

What are SnackNation's limits?

The catalog is snacks and coffee, only starting prices are published, and the site lists no CRM or sales integrations. For gifts to prospects tied to a deal, a platform such as Reachdesk or Postal is a closer fit.

What are the alternatives to SnackNation?

Giftagram and Packed with Purpose send curated gift boxes to employees and customers. Postal and Reachdesk are gifting and direct mail platforms built for sales and marketing teams.
